The Rainbow Bridge

This page is dedicated to all the prescious angels who have gone before us.  Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.... Author unknown...

Ruby
Dear Ruby came back to Lucky Star 2 years ago when her dad needed our help to care for her. She is the last dog left from our dear friend, Molly Malone. Ruby spent her remaining years as a permanent foster with Lucky Star. Ruby had many medical issues including the Cavalier heart, lymphoma, and arthritis. Just before her 16th birthday, she let us know it was time and she joined dear Molly at the Bridge. God bless you dear sweet girl.

Romeo
Sweet Romeo passed away suddenly on March 22, 2022. He came to LS as a owner surrender in December 2015. His foster mom, Lynn, fell in love and made him a permanent part of the family shortly thereafter. He was goofy and fun and just a happy boy. He is greatly missed by his mom and brother Xander. He was preceded at the Bridge by his sister Anna and recently was joined by his other sister Ruby. You are missed Romeo.

Jake

I lost my Jake today, March 14, 2022. He would have been 16 this coming May. He was my most beloved boy. At 15 Jake lived a rich life until the last few months. It started with his legs giving out, then a seizure, then other neurological problems. I loved him fiercely and I am heartbroken. Pat Wellmeier

Anna
My Anna Banana Lucky Star Class of 2011. A shy puppy mill momma who became a confident, loud and bossy girl. I say that with the utmost love. She was a character in every sense of the word. I most miss those eyes and the look of pure love. I miss you baby girl. Mommy loves you always and forever.

TN Katie - SoJo

So Jo (formerly Katie) went to the Rainbow bridge on 9/23/21. Katie was 11 years old last December. She lived her life in freedom with her Mom Deborah and her cavalier brother Mully. She will be missed by all her knew this sweet girl.
