Morgan is a very playful 4 year old retired breeder who has never met a stranger. She is fun, funny, and loves to cuddle. She loves being part of the family. While she likes the two male cavaliers in her foster home she really loves the two children, a 9 year old girl and 11 year old boy. She would love to play with the resident cavaliers but they are much older and prefer to snooze the day away.
Morgan came into foster care quite overweight for her body size. She weighed 29 lbs but has already lost almost 4 lbs.  Don't let her size full you, she is energetic but would feel so much better with those extra pounds off.  The weight she has already lost has increased her stamina significantly. Losing weight has been easy for her, she never begs for food and never acts extra hungry.... BUT when you are in the kitchen or eating she is glued to your leg hoping something, anything will drop her way. She has been housebroken since day one, doesn't mind going in her crate, and loves walking on the leash. The only thing she has yet to master is walking up and down multiple stairs, although she is fine with single steps. Her foster family is working with her on the stay command. Right now she will easily walk out the front door,  thinking she is going with you somewhere.
Morgan needs a physically fenced yard and another cavalier or small dog as a companion. Applicants within driving distance of Ohio will be given first consideration.
