Fletcher is a handsome 7 year old boy who has embraced his new life with all 4 paws. His first taste of freedom in a yard seemed to overwhelm him. He ran and ran without stopping; he was not trying to escape - he was like a kid on Christmas morning. He just couldn’t get enough. He wanted to see and smell everything. He was like a kid in a candy store. Now that he trusts that the yard will be there every time he goes outside he is a happy boy, content to smell everything and explore the scenery. He loved getting his first bath as if he knew that he would feel and smell better very soon. Fletcher has figured out how to be a loved pet rather than a stud dog and is settling in very well. He is calm and a little cautious with new people but does not show fear. He has just learned how to play with toys and the other cavaliers in his foster home and he barks with joy so he can join in the fun.

Fletcher is doing very well with his housetraining and is starting to learn how to walk on a leash. He sleeps in his crate at night and settles right down. Fletcher needs a home with a fenced yard so he can continue to enjoy his outside time and a companion dog that also likes to play. His foster Mom says he is ready for the next phase of his life – having his very own forever home. Fletcher is being fostered near Dayton, Ohio.
