~~Hi, my name is Kyle.  I am a recent rescue from an Amish farm in Pennsylvania.  I am so thankful to be out of there!  I have a curly coat, and they never bathed or brushed me so my coat was all matted and stuck to my skin.  My foster mom had to shave me to get me free of all the mats; it was even growing around my collar in one huge mat.  I feel so much better now.  Thank you for saving me, Lucky Star!

I am 5 years young, and I am a big, handsome boy.  I weigh 26.4 pounds, and I am the strongest, stockiest Cavalier my foster mom has ever seen.  She just keeps saying that I have the most beautiful head.  I did have a dental, and they stole a few of my teeth while I was sleeping, but other than that, I and got an A+ on my vet check.  Now, I am learning what life is supposed to be – in a real house with a family.  I am very needy for attention.  Now that I know people are great, I HAVE to be with my people – preferably on a lap.  I am exploring a whole new world, so I will follow you everywhere to see what you are doing.  I would love you best if you didn’t leave me very often.

My foster home has several other Cavaliers, and I like them okay as long as they don’t get in my way of getting attention.  One of the benefits of being a little bigger is I just push them out of the way.  I would probably like one sibling because I do like to play chase and mouth wrestle, but I don’t want to share the love with several others in a large pack.  I also like to keep all the toys for myself, even though I am not quite sure what to do with them all yet.  My first preference is men; we big guys have to stick together!  Females are okay too, but I am not so sure about the little people.  They are loud and move quickly, and I get a little scared.  Don’t tell anybody though because I am supposed to be a big, strong guy.  My foster mom says I am just a big, loving teddy bear!

Although I love my foster mom and dad, I am looking for a forever home that is just perfect for me.  Would your home be right for me?  I would like another dog companion(s), someone who will have lots of time with me and a securely fenced yard.  If you have these things, please complete an application and email Mary Coyne, mary401339@aol.com and let her know you are interested in me.   I am being fostered in southern New Jersey.
