Caesar and Cara were breeding partners who came to Lucky Star in May.  Both dogs were terribly overweight and in great need of dental care.  Caesar tested positive for heartworm so he has spent the last few months being treated and he has finally completed his treaatments successfully and is ready for a home of his own. He also received an echocardiagram from a board certified cardiologist prior to his heartworm treatment and is on Enalapril and Pimobendan for his current condition.  There are no other symptoms and he should be checked again in 6 months due to all he has tolerated with the heartworm treatment.  

 He is a sweet, lovable boy who just wants to be with his owner.  He does display some anxiety when left alone but he adjusts after he realizes that he is safe and not going to be left.  He loves to sleep on the big bed at night and just wants to be included.   He is very content to follow his owner around, helping and supervising daily activities.  

He's a super boy and has lost that excess weight he came to us with.  He doesn't look or act his 8 years.  Don't let the heart medication discourage you.  I can't say enough good things about his boy.  He deserves a loving home of his own.
