Oliver is a very special 3 year old boy.  He came to rescue due to unfortunate family circumstances.  Oliver has been used to living with children and other pets.  He does extremely well in his foster home.  Oliver does have some special needs.  He will need a home that is understanding of his grade 4 patellar luxation with arthritis.  While this sounds scary, Oliver does what every other young (age 3/4 years) dog does.  He runs, plays, jumps on furniture, sits on your lap, gives kisses and more.  Grade 4 is difficult to repair (we checked with several orthopedic surgeons), very few orthopedic vets will even try to fix it.  It is a very long recovery period, if it is successful.  The outcome is unknown. There are exercises that can strengthen the muscles around the joint.   Oliver can live his life comfortably with some supplements.  He is a healthy guy otherwise, and is fully vetted and neutered.   We are hoping someone can love him, as is.  It is okay to be different.
