Willow is a 5 year-old English Toy Spaniel surrendered by her owner who had her for 3 years out of a shelter.  She was surrendered because she was not housebroken.  She was treated for a severe urinary tract infection with several rounds of antibiotic to finally rid her of the infection.  Willow uses pee pads but has not adjusted to using the outdoors for her bathroom needs.  It is still a work in progress.  She will have an occasional accident if a pad is not available. 

Willow gets along with people, dogs, children, and cats.  She is friendly with strangers, walks well on a leash and is quiet unless other dogs are barking. She knows basic commands and is very willing to please.  She loves to ride in the car and sleep on the sofa/furniture.  She is a very loving dog who loves to be petted and receive attention.  She is not very active and will sleep all day, and is devoted to her person.  She is only demanding of your love.

We require a securely fenced yard for Willow and a home that will tolerate her use of pee pads.  Knowledge of this breed is important.  She is being fostered in Little Rock, AR.  We do not ship dogs on planes of use any commercial services so please be within a reasonable driving distance before you apply.  Please contact Mary Coyne, mary401339@aol.com of your interest after completing an application.
