Marshall is a 2 year old tri Cavalier looking for his forever home. He came from a breeding situation and didn’t receive much training.     He is a big boy who really loves his food. He currently weighs 22 lbs but should weigh 19 to 20 at ideal weight. He will need to continue his diet.

He is a very affectionate, loving cavalier who loves everyone he meets.

One of his favorite things to do is sit on your lap or next to you. He can be a bit possessive of that lap when other dogs approach and to correct that behavior, his foster home tells him no, and puts him on the floor. This seems to work well but occasionally he needs to be reminded. He is also a bit stingy with his toys as well.   He was the boss at his former home and needs an owner who is the alpha and can work on correcting the behavior.

He is doing well with potty training also. He learned how to use the doggy door very quickly

and seldom has accidents.

He loves everyone that comes to the house including children of all ages. He has not been exposed to cats but one of his favorite things to do is try to catch butterflies. He will sometimes spend hours laying in the yard waiting for them to fly so he can chase.   Because of his tendency to chase things, a securely fenced yard is an absolute must.  

He loves to sleep in the big bed at night time and is always willing to give you LOTS of goodnight kisses before he goes to sleep.

Marshall would do well in a home by himself with an experienced owner to continue his training or with one other dog as he does like to be the boss.

He is neutered, up to date on shots and micro chipped with recent dental and has no known health problems.
