~~Katie is a petite tri girl that just turned 5 in June. Lucky Star stepped in and transformed her life from being a baby maker to becoming the princess that she deserves to be. Behind that sweet little face is a very active mind that is always thinking of the next adventure she would like to try. Outside she loves the rock garden at her foster home.  She seems to think it is her own personal salad bowl some days! Katie is also fascinated with the belly band and protective head gear resident cavalier Jake wears. She loves pulling them off of him and chewing on them too.
Katie started her new life as a timid girl that did not know that the hands that reached to pick her up only wanted to hold her and show her that the world of a pampered cavalier is full of love. She now enjoys snoozing in her foster Mom’s lap and being petted. Meal times are her favorite though. She does a great impression of a prisoner banging his cup against the cell bars while she is waiting in her crate to be fed. The food can’t come fast enough.
Katie has been spayed and microchipped and is ready for her forever home. Katie will need a home with at least one other companion animal. She loves the dogs in her foster home. She also must have a physically fenced yard. Electric fences are not an option. She is still afraid of the leash but her foster Mom is working on that with her. Katie is being fostered near Dayton, Ohio.
