~~Through no fault of his own Joey is looking for his forever family again. Due to a sudden, unforeseen event Joey’s adopter could no longer keep him.
Joey is an amazing, cute, active little guy. He is 11 years old but don’t tell him that! He thinks he is a puppy. He loves to run and hop in the  backyard. Always off to a new adventure. He adores his cavalier cousins at his foster home and especially loves the lady cavalier of the house.
Joey LOVES any soft pillow or dog bed and makes himself at home where ever he happens to find one. Just recently he decided to explore the toy box by stepping into it and looking around. He loves to cuddle, is housebroken, comes when he is called and has learned to sit. He also has learned to walk on a leash. He is microchipped.
Joey has a grade 2 heart murmur but is asymptomatic at this time. He is on no medications. He also has no teeth but is able to keep his tongue in his mouth and eats very well. 
We would like Joey to have another small dog as a companion as he loves being part of the pack. Joey also needs a home with a physically fenced in yard – that is a must.
