UPDATE: She loves the two older, considerate children in her foster home. Loves cuddling with her foster Mom but is still somewhat submissive around men. She can be protective with her toys and will growl with the other dogs approach her if she has a toy but readily lets her foster family take them away from her. Doing much better on housebreaking but does not verbalize she needs to go out. She has adapted well to the schedule of the two resident cavaliers in her foster home and follows their schedule of being let out. But she will have an accident if not let out. Doing better on a leash. She is happy to see anyone who comes for a visit; runs, has a happy face and wags that beautiful cavalier tail in greeting.
Meet Glory, a sweetheart who spent her past making babies for profit but is now living the good life thanks to Lucky Star. Glory is 6 years old and is a very sweet, gentle girl. She likes to be right where you are and can sometimes get underfoot. She loves the two cavaliers she is being fostered with and adapts well to new situations. She loves to be held and cuddled and will let you know when she is ready for a warm lap and gentle hand to pet her. She sleeps in a crate and often likes to snooze in it during the day. Glory is still working on housebreaking and is almost perfect. She does well when let outside...but needs to be let out as soon as she comes out of her crate. She is not quite sure about the leash yet so that is still a work in progress.
Glory loves being outside and does well with the two older children in her foster home. She does not hesitate to meet new people since she assumes they have come to pet her! Glory is a healthy girl who has been spayed, is microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. She is heart clear at this time and has no patella issues.
Glory would do best with someone who is home for part of the day to make sure she can be let outside to potty. She needs another dog for company and fenced yard is a must for her. Glory is being fostered near Dayton, OH. If you are interested in applying to adopt Glory please fill out our online adoption application and contact Mary Coyne, mary401339@aol.com
