~~Hi my name is Bailey, but my foster mom calls me Big Boy. I'm 2.5 years old. I'm on the larger size for a Cavalier although I am steadily losing weight. I was relinquished by my first owner due to his busy schedule. I had eaten my way to 44 pounds before Lucky Star got me. Now I weigh 36 pounds and continue to work at it! I sure feel better and love taking walks and running and playing in my foster's yard. I have made amazing progress in the last few weeks. I like to snack on green beans and raw carrots. Sometimes I try to steal the other dogs treats, but I'm learning my manners!  I would be happy to have someone home with me or have a dog companion with me.

I like to cuddle with my foster family and like to sleep in the big bed. I came with a crate but now I sleep on top of it not in it. I figured out how to get there from the couch and the view is much better from here. I spent a lot of time inside that crate, so I might just be done with it.  I also like the teen age girls who hang out at the house. I like the other dogs at the house and don't mind cats either. I'm easy going and so happy to be loved and get the attention I need. I have learned some basic commands, like sit and stay. 

I am house trained now and my foster parents are so proud of me - they say I am better mannered than their own dogs!! It's time for me to have my own family and if you would like to adopt a bigger and snuggly, handsome boy - then I hope you pick me! 

Needs a securely fenced yard (not an invisible fence) for exercise and freedom plus regular walks to continue to reach ideal weight. Good with children and other dogs and cats. Great family pet with so much love to give.
