Eli is a very handsome 19 lb. five-year-old tri-colored male. He has the most amazing topaz colored eyes.  Eli is also house trained, very well behaved and a well mannered boy. He has not had any accidents in foster care, travels well in cars, and does not show any destructive behaviors.

Eli is in a foster home with four other Cavaliers and he has quickly been accepted by them as one of the gang.  He gets along wonderfully with his humans as well, especially the foster family’s three year old grandson.

Eli is a very sweet, docile dog and spends most of his day curled up on the sofa. He is very happy to sit next to his foster dad or on his lap at TV time, providing occasional kisses. He sleeps on a bed at night.  Eli is a master at playing fetch or playing quietly by himself with a toy.

Eli was heartworm positive when he came into rescue but he came through his treatment with flying colors.  He has had a dental and is up to date on vaccinations.  Eli is heart clear with no murmur present.  He does have a medial luxating patella that does not require treatment.

He does well on a leash.  He has a huge appetite so his food intake will need to be monitored.  He barks occasionally, but is generally quiet and shows you how happy he is by vigorously wagging his tail.  He is precious and will soak up all of your attention.
