Frasier is a stunning 1 year old black and tan English Toy Spaniel. He is a small boy weighing only 11 pounds. He spent the first year of his life in a puppy mill and because of his early beginnings he does not totally trust his human companions, but he has come a long way since the day he arrived at his foster home. He has really bonded with his foster Dad and the family’s other dogs.

He will require a special family that will take the time to talk to him and play with him, creating an environment where he feels safe.  Frasier is a gentle, happy and playful loving boy who is well-behaved and intelligent. He will be a good family companion.

Frasier is not a high energy boy, and enjoys the company of foster family, being primarily a lapdog.  In fact, he is a lap dog par excellence — gentle, amiable, calm and quiet — yet he is playful and attentive. He is utterly devoted to his foster Dad but reserved with strangers.

Frasier has had all of his shots, is neutered, and has no issues with his heart. He does have a rotated tibia on his back leg which does not require any treatment at this time.  It does not seem to limit his mobility or cause him any pain.

Although Frasier has been around small children and did just fine, it is recommended that his adoptive family have (mainly because of Frasier’s size), older children that can handle him gently.  He does wonderful with the foster family’s pack of 3 Cavaliers and a Morkie.  He manages to get in the middle of playtime and loves to play with the other dogs.

If you would like to give this special boy the forever home he deserves, please complete the online application indicating you are interested in Frasier.   Then contact jcharlton1@att.net and indicate your interest. Frasier is being fostered in Madison, AL.
