Barney!

Personality:
* Barney has got to be the most easy going pup IÕve ever met. There is just nothing that rattles him. He is happy in a household of two adults, or a house full of kids of all ages.
* I believe he is revisiting his puppyhood, as he wants to explore every open door and cabinet. He loves to play and chase the other dogs around. He does have the wisdom to leave the cat alone though!
* He loves being in the car, but doesnÕt mind being left home with the other pups.
* He loves to jump up on the couch and snuggle, but is perfectly happy to lay on the floor at your feet.
* He loves to go on walks, but he also loves lying in the sunshine or romping in the fenced backyard.
* He loves his food, and isnÕt quite sure why all the food bowls shouldnÕt be his!
* He is happy sleeping by himself or in a crate with the other dogs.
* He is not a barker.
He's just full of spunk and vigor, and loves to be scratched around the ears . . . a little lower . . .lower . . . ahhh. Just right!

Health:
* He is probably about 6 to 8 years young.
* He is blind in one eye and canÕt see out of the other Ð well, not really, but letÕs just say heÕs visually challenged! This is most noticable when it is dark Ð I usually carry him up and down the steps outside at night. He does fine in the daylight. His right eye is totally blind and he has some hyperpigmentation on the left eye. He also has dry eye which requires eye drops at least twice a day.
* He is 80% house trained. Or I am 80% house trained Ð IÕm not sure which! When he has to go, if no one is there to let him out, he might piddle on the floor by the door.

History:
He was turned in to a kill shelter in Ohio in April, most likely from a puppy mill. He has recovered nicely and is ready for his forever home!
