Frankie has been  adopted and he is now  at home in Chicago with his beautiful sisters Saddie and Lola and has fit in like he has been there his WHOLE life.  Have a wonderful life sweet boy.

Frankie is a super guy.  He has lots of energy but definitely needs a fenced yard.  Look at all the fun he is having!  He'd love a home of his own.

Frankie is just a wonderful happy 3-6 year old (although he has the energy and zest for life of a 2 year old) ruby male.  His foster home reports he is a joy to have around.  He is great with other dogs, currently living with both large and small dogs.  Frankie does not really romp and rough house with other dogs, but absolutely loves to investigate and run with them.  He also enjoys the games the dogs are playing by being nearby cheering them on.  Frankie loves to run, it is one of the first things he learned once escaping the confines of a cage, and he has not slowed down yet.  The first thing he does when he goes outside is run the complete perimeter of the fence.  He is a very lean and athletic 18 pounds.  Frankie happily and eagerly comes when called, he walks well on a leash, offers a sit for you every chance he gets.  He also can not get enough of stuffed squeaky toys. He would carry one with him at all times if he could.  He is good with kids, although the fast unpredictable motions of children 6 and younger do still startle him a bit, and can overwhelm him.  Although Frankie is a very playful and active boy, when he gets plenty of opportunity to run and play he also truly enjoys quiet time and curling up next to you on the couch.  Frankie does need a secure fenced yard to keep him safe as he loves playing hunting games and birds, butterflies, and squirrels can get the best of him.  He is also not real good with cats, he must think they are squirrels inside for his entertainment.  FENCED YARD REQUIRED!  PLEASE DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE A SECURE PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD.  (no invisible or electric fences)!
