Maddie and Ruby

Maddie is calm with a sweet disposition and a cute crooked smile.  While usually very "laid back", our puppy can definitely bring out the playfulness in her.  She is from a puppy mill where she spent her 6 years outside away from people.  She adores lap time and rub-downs now that she knows people will do this for her!  Maddie wants to be with you, and even though she presents a somewhat calm and frail demeanor she can climb a 2ft baby gate without much trouble, so don't be fooled!  Maddie is not protective of her food and has never nipped or showed any aggression whatsoever toward us or our visitors.  She prefers a relaxed and slow dining experience, and as such, will lose her food to other dogs.  Some care has to be taken to protect her from this.  She is happy to eat in her kennel.
