Who can turn the world on with her smile?….Claire can!!! After years loving and protecting many litters of precious puppies, it’s her turn to be fawned over. She’s had Spa treatments, vaccinations, spay surgery, and now in her foster home, has safe (fenced in) space to run and run and roll in the grass with her canine foster friends. She is gentle and respectful of other cats and dogs. Claire even likes some ‘alone time’ in her crate! Claire is a 6 year old gorgeous girl with heart-melting smiling eyes and a motherly personality. Once you gain her trust, she will become your close friend, by your side! She has discovered how kind humans can be, is loveable and eager to please. If she could, Claire would lead a canine women’s group for King Cavalier Spaniels who are transitioning from years of mothering, to the freedom of having a nurturing family that takes care of her. Claire is most comfortable around women. She has the capacity to bond to human men who are gentle and understanding of her preference for women but it will take time and loving patience. Loud noises and being forced into scary relationships will not be suitable for this precious girl. Claire is a very smart and special girl. On leash walks, she is a leisurely walker. Toys are a new interest but she’d rather spend her time being near you and receiving affection. Claire has a lot of love to give and deserves a lot in return. Her tail is constantly wagging, and her happiness is contagious. At nighttime, she will serenade you with soft snores. And guess what! Claire appears to be solidly housebroken, not one accident.
