Cecelia or Cici is a 5 year old,  Blenheim female, a retired breeder who weighs 16.5 lbs.

Cecelia (Cici) likes to cuddle on these cold winter days. She is good with many other Cavaliers in her foster home as well as the resident cat. She eats from her bowl like a perfect lady and enjoys playing with toys.  Cici sleeps on the bed with her foster dad and other dogs. 

Once her routine is known to her, no accidents (pee) in the house. She loves to chance squirrels so a fenced in yard is must. CiCi can spend hours checking out the yard.  Because she is so interested in what is going on outside, she could be a flight risk so we will ensure that a property is safe, not only the yard but escaping doors to the outside. 

Cici has a heart murmur so she saw a cardiologist and a thorough cardio work up including an echo.  She has mild MVD, mild left ventricular enlargement.  It is very possible that there will be improvement in cardiac enlargement now that she is properly cared for.  Should recheck in 6-9 months. No medications needed at this time.  She also had numerous extractions during her dental procedure but is eating just fine and feeling great!

Cici will make a fine companion.  As with all of our rescues, a securely fenced yard is a must as well as a canine companion.  Older, respectful children may be considered if they are dog savvy.  Cici is being fostered in CT and we will consider those qualified applicants within a reasonable distance.  We do not ship dogs or support long distant adoptions.  Please contact Mary Coyne, mary401339@aol.com of your  interest after reading the bio and after submitting an application.
