Noelle is the 3rd of our three Christmas girls that came into rescue in December. Noelle is being fostered in Southpoint, OH. Southpoint is about 2 hours from Columbus, OH; 15 minutes from Huntington, WV; or 12 minutes from Ashland, KY. Noelle is 6 years old and was released to Lucky Star from a commercial breeding business. She is microchipped, has been spayed and due to severe dental issues lost all of her teeth during her dental. She is up to date on all of her shots. Noelle suffered several seizures the first night she was in foster care. We immediately sought care for her. No reason could be found for her seizures; she was placed on Phenobarbital (a low cost medication) and has not had another seizure since early December, 2020. Her vet recommends she stay on this medication.

Noelle gets along well with the other cavaliers in her foster home as well as the resident cats. She loves to be outside to run in the safely fenced yard. She has not had any experience walking on a leash yet. She is definitely a lap dog as her favorite place is in a lap. She loves people and does well with older, well behaved children. She sleeps in a dog bed in the foster parent’s bedroom along with the other cavaliers in the home. When she first came in to foster care she would react to stress or over stimulation with a high pitched bark. This has settled down since she is more confident and comfortable in her new life. She is an active, devoted, friendly and loving girl. We want Noelle to be in a home with other small dogs, someone who is home most of the day and to have a safely, physically fenced area to play. We will not consider a home who cannot provide this. We do not ship our dogs so someone who lives within driving distance will be considered first.

If you would like to be considered as an adopter for Noelle, please fill out our adoption application which can be found at this link: https://www.luckystarcavalierrescue.org/forms/form?formid=1797 After you have submitted the application you may email our Ohio Foster Coordinator and let her know of your interest and ask any additional question: pwellmeier@myself.com
