Roxanne “Roxy” is a 6 year old Ruby female who is the happiest girl rescued from a commercial breeder in AR. She weighs 13.7 lbs.  She can be timid at times but she just needs to know where her people are, as she will be your shadow and follow you everywhere. She loves to be right by your side, loves to be cuddled and loves naps with her people. She doesn’t mind other dogs and/or cats, as long as they respect her space. She prefers to sleep in her family’s bed but has also been kennel trained. She has also been house-trained. We are currently working on walking on a leash. She’s a real sweetie and very calm.

 

Roxy is a healthy girl! She has some dry skin from time to time but the right shampoo will alleviate that. She is spayed and has a few tooth extractions and has had her teeth cleaned. She is HW negative and no heart murmur was detected.

 

Roxy would be perfect for a family that wants their pup with them wherever they go. She’s an awesome passenger in the car and is small enough to travel easy with her people. She’s best fit for a family with children ages 10+ and must have a fenced yard with no nooks or crannies for her to escape...although she may not stray far from wherever you are. Roxy is being fostered in Sherwood, AR so please be mindful of the location before submitting an application as we do not support lengthy transports or ship dogs. We respond to those who meet her needs and live within a reasonable driving distance after COVID restrictions are lifted.
