~~Teddy is a loving and playful two year old Blenheim Cavalier boy. He came to Lucky Star after living in a temporary home for two years. During that time he was well socialized but received no medical care. He was given to Lucky Star so we could find him a wonderful home and bring him up to date on his medical needs.

As you can see from his picture, Teddy is a very special boy. He was born with Microphthalmia a relatively uncommon congenital eye disease of dogs characterized by a unilateral or bilateral shrunken eye. In Teddy’s case it only affects his one eye. While he has dry eye syndrome in the other eye it does not affect his vision and is controlled with eye drops. His eye condition does not stop him from living a normal, happy life. He loves toys, playing with his cavalier siblings in his foster home, and most of all, he loves food and treats. He adores being held and cuddling with his foster parents.

He is housebroken and has quickly mastered walking on a leash. Teddy has been neutered, had a dental cleaning and has been microchipped. Teddy needs a home with at least one other smaller dog as a companion, preferably a cavalier. While he had met the resident cats in his foster home he does want to chase them. He also must have a physically fenced yard. We will not consider applicants with unfenced or electric fences. Teddy is being fostered in the Cincinnati, OH area.
