~~Trixie is a new addition to the Lucky Star Cavalier Rescue family. She came to us from a commercial breeding establishment along with her friend Tessa, who was adopted last week. Trixie is a beautiful, friendly 6 year old tri-color cavalier. She is very easy going. Likes everyone she meets, except cats – no so much! She is very affectionate and gives away her kisses freely. Trixie was spayed, had a hernia repaired and lost 15 teeth at her dental. She feels much better now that her remaining teeth are healthy and it doesn’t hurt to eat any more. Her foster Mom loves watching her prance in the backyard and she does prance. She looks just like a show dog in the ring. Trixie really enjoys the company of the other cavaliers in her foster home. She must go to a home with at least one other small dog and she would love it if that dog was another cavalier. Older, respectful children only.

Trixie is being fostered near Dayton, OH. If you are interested in Trixie please read the requirements for this girl before you fill out an adoption application. She must have a physically fenced in yard, a companion animal and preferably no cats in the home. Applicants that cannot provide these things will not be considered. We do not ship our dogs so applicants within driving distance of her foster location will be given first consideration.
