Tessa is a 4 year old tri-color sweetheart that came to Lucky Star Cavalier Rescue from a commercial breeding facility. She is very outgoing and friendly and has fully embraced her new life as a pampered pet. Tessa loves to play with toys and the other cavaliers in her foster home.  She does not like the resident cats very much so a home without cats would be best for Tessa. She is a great sleeper and sleeps all night with the resident cavaliers.

Tessa has been spayed and had a dental and is up to date on all her vaccines. She is also microchipped. She does have a grade 2 heart murmur but is not symptomatic and is not on any meds at this time.  She also is receiving over the counter eye drops that can be purchased in any drug store as she has borderline dry eye.

Tessa needs a  home with other cavaliers or small dogs. She also needs a physically fenced in yard. We do not place our rescues in homes with electric fences. Tessa is being fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. We do not ship our dogs so an adopter within driving distance will be given first consideration.
