~~Rocko is proof that good things come in small packages. This 5 year old tri cavalier weighs in at a little less than 11 pounds. Rocko came to Lucky Star as a breeder release. He has captured the hearts of everyone that has met him since coming into foster care. Rocko loves to play with toys, run in the yard and hang out with the other cavaliers in his foster home. His absolute favorite friend is Jake, the resident love bug. In fact, his foster Mom has very few pictures of Rocko without some red in them because Rocko thinks that Jake is his personal pillow.

Rocko’s favorite activity is curling up in his foster Mom’s lap. If this handsome boy has captured your attention please read his needs before applying. Rocko must have a physically fenced, secure yard. He much prefers running in the yard to a leash. He needs at least one other small dog as a companion and must be allowed on the furniture and preferably in the lap of his Mom or Dad. His reaction to new people is to bark until he is sure they are friends. Once he has given you his stamp of approval you are his “person.”

Rocko is being fostered in the Dayton, Ohio area. We prefer an adopter who would be willing to drive to come and get him so please consider your distance to his foster home. Please do not apply if you cannot provide a physically fenced yard.
