Betty Sue is a beautiful 6 year old 17lb Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a sweet personality and a heart full of love.  She is a retired breeder from a kennel in Ohio.

This lovely girl has blossomed in foster care and is completely devoted to her foster mom and dad. She loves spending time with her people, playing outside with her foster dog siblings, and enjoying all the comforts of family life. Betty Sue gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is also very sweet with the resident cats in her foster home.

Betty Sue has been spayed, had a dental cleaning, and is ready to find her forever family. She was recently evaluated by a veterinary cardiologist and diagnosed with ACVIM Stage B2 degenerative valve disease, a condition commonly seen in Cavaliers. She takes Pimobendan (Vetmedin) every 12 hours and is doing very well. Her cardiologist recommends that she be allowed to set her own activity level, and no special diet is required at this time. Her cardiologist also recommends that she be rechecked in six months and then yearly after that. 

Betty Sue will need a securely fenced yard and another small dog or Cavalier companion in her forever home.
