Meet Kelly — the sweetest Blenheim Cavalier with a gentle soul, a loving heart, and a true appreciation for life’s cozy comforts.  She is 4 ½ years old (DOB 6/4/2021), retired from a breeding kennel.  She was diagnosed with EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency) where the pancreas does no produce the enzyme needed to absorb and digest nutrition and food.  She requires the enzyme to be added to all food for the rest of her life.  It is a manageable condition with the enzyme. 

 She is a total lovebug. She’s happiest when being petted, getting belly rubs, or snuggling close in your arms. With her calm, easygoing personality, she enjoys long, peaceful naps but still appreciates some fresh air and short strolls. She walks beautifully on a leash and does the cutest little happy dance when she sees her harness. She also enjoys riding in a stroller and even loves a bit of shopping!

Kelly gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would truly thrive in a home with another Cavalier companion to share her relaxed lifestyle. She has not yet been tested with cats.

Comfort is everything to Kelly—soft beds and cozy couches are her favorite places to be. When she’s especially content, you might even hear her adorable snore! She is house-trained and does best with a consistent routine. While she doesn’t signal when she needs to go outside, regular potty breaks every few hours help her succeed. She is also comfortable being left home alone for short periods.

Kelly weighs about 24 pounds and would benefit from losing a few pounds to stay in tip-top shape. She is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, and on heartworm prevention.

She is being fostered in the Little Rock area.
