This sweet boy has a home of his own!
December 14, 2009
Jax is just the cutest cavalier in town!! He is under 14 lbs, so he looks like a puppy even though he is 4 years old. He has been neutered, had all of his shots and his knees are good. However, he does have a heart murmur which is going to be looked at by a cardiologist. Please watch for an update coming soon.
Jax has taken well to living in the house, already figuring out how to go up the stairs although not down yet -- scary looking down that far! He'll hop on the couch and loves to snuggle in the big bed. He loves to snuggle with other dogs too, so he'd like a doggie companion in his forever home. Jax is still timid with everyday noises such as the toaster but is learning more every day. He is super quiet and we have not heard him bark once!
Jax has not been exposed to cats or children, but would probably be ok with both as long as the children are older and respectful. Jax is still learning how to walk on leash so a fenced yard is a must. Jax is working on the house training. Although he is quick to go outside, he will still mark in the house on occasion. A belly band would help this issue in his forever home if his hormones haven't completely subsided by then.
Jax is being fostered in Madison, WI. For more information only after completing an application, contact kimberly_olive@hotmail.com. Please state your location so we can search for your application.
