Lorna - NJ

April 3, 2010

Lucky Lorna has been adopted and is living in NJ, getting lots of personal attention and being spoiled.

October 8, 2009

Lorna is about 5 years old, rescued from an Amish farm in Ohio.  She is a very friendly girl, loves people and dogs.  She loves to sit on the couch and watch TV with her foster dad.  As is typical of rescues this age, her teeth and ears needed attention but now she is in good shape.  She has very slight luxation in one of her knees but it is not anything that requires surgery.  It doesn't limit her activity at all.  Her heart is free of any murmurs at this time.  She had a mass removed from her mouth which was benign (sigh of relief!) and she's doing great.  She's ready for a home of her own and ready to take care of her own family.  She'd love a home with other dogs and older children would probably be OK with her.  A fenced yard (not an invisible fence) is also preferred so she can run and strengthen the muscles in her back legs.

Lorna is in northern NJ.  Please complete an application on the Lucky Star web site first, the contact mary401339@aol.com of your interest, stating your location in that e-mail so we can locate your application.
