Delaney is 12 pounds of total cuteness. At 4 1/2 years old she is enjoying her new life in her foster home after being a breeder for most of her life.   She lives with one loving person in a quiet home with one other dog. She is very friendly and puts her little paws up to be picked up or held. When approached she is still fearful but she is learning that humans are nice. She has become friends with her companion English Toy Spaniel and they love laying together and she sometimes lays her head on him. Other times they give each other space and relax independently. They both love meal and treat times, which is the only time she barks. She likes to meet new people but prefers to approach them herself. She has met the next door neighbor and is not afraid of him. She comes when called and sits on command. She walks close to her foster Mom on the leash. 

She’s been spayed, had her dental, HW negative and has been microchipped.  There is no evidence of a heart murmur at this time. 

As soon as anyone enters the room Delaney makes eye contact and you can tell she is excited and happy. She loves going outside and runs energetically around the yard. Back inside she is ready to be held on a soft lap. She is catching on to house training which will need to be continued. It is essential that she have a fenced yard (not an invisible fence) so that she can have freedom to run and play. Delaney would do well in a home with mature older children and other pets or she could be a loving companion to one person.
