Walker is an English Toy Spaniel, about 3 years old and weighs about 18 lbs.  Walker is a lovable boy and just as cute as can be.  He is happy and friendly and thoroughly enjoying having a yard to run in.  A fenced yard is a must for him (not an invisible fence).  Because he loves people and attention, a home where he will receive lots of attention and not be left alone all day would be ideal for him.  He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home.  He’s only been in foster care for a few days but he is very well-behaved and willing to please.   He lays quietly next to his foster mom in the office when she is working.  He is not a barker and has adjusted very quickly to his foster home.  He is a real cuddler and loves to have his belly rubbed.  Older, respectful children would be OK with him.

His foster mom has not yet tried his leash walking skills but will update his profile as he learns new things.  He is not sure of using stairs so he is currently working on learning how to go up the stairs, then he will learn how to go down.  The photos do not do him justice.  He is a real cute boy and a happy boy. 

Walker would love a securely fenced yard because he just loves to run around.  He also likes to play with other dogs so a canine play companion would make him really happy.
